Artist of the Day: Torus
Today we got an epic producer from Minneapolis, Zack Kremer aka Torus. Starting producing at the age of 15; beginning with breakbeat music and trance, Torus has had experience dabbling in multiple genres. His most recent work balances massive trance buildups, nasty dubstep drops, and an aspect of melody that is more and more lost with today's dubstep.

Artist of the Day: Sub Focus
This is one of my favorites producers of all time! Nicholas Douwma, better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English Electronic Music record producer. He has been releasing records since 2003. On 12 October 2009, he released his self-titled debut album.In March 2005 he had a number one single on the UK Dance Chart with "X-Ray / Scarecrow". The single reached number 60 on the UK Singles Chart. In June 2008, he hit number one on the UK Dance Chart again with "Timewarp / Join the Dots" In August 2009, he cracked the UK Top 40 for the first time with "Rock It / Follow the Light", which reached number 38. "Rock It / Follow the Light" also got him a third UK Dance Chart #1, as well as reaching the B-List of BBC Radio 1's playlist.
In 2010, Sub Focus was a support act for Australian drum & bass band Pendulum on their UK tour to promote their third album Immersion. Later that year, he helped to produce the Example track "Kickstarts" from his second album, Won't Go Quietly. The track was successful in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at #3. This makes it Sub Focus' most commercially successful involvement with a single to date.

Artist of the Day: 12th Planet
John Dadzie, a native of Los Angeles and now known as 12th Planet, is quickly rising in the ranks as a DJ in Southern California. His music career began early on in high school “playing in bands and regularly attending raves and jungle parties.” The stepping stone in his career was with DJ Lith forming Imperial Recordings under the alias Infiltrata.
12th Planet is an artist of many genres, mainly dubstep, electro, and hip hop. Mainly influenced by drum and bass, dubstep, electro, house, grime, hip hop, reggae, punk, psychadellic, and gangsta rap (according to Facebook). He is also the co-founder of the SMOG record label and host of Dubtroit, which is a monthly night of dubstep in Orange Country. If you dig dubstep you’ll dig the killer beats by 12th Planet.

Artist of the Day: Nero
The duo released their first official single "Innocence" in the United Kingdom on 26 April 2010. The single was released as a double A-side with the track "Electron" as a digital download, as well as on vinyl. The track peaked at number 168 on the UK Singles Chart besides peaking at number 16 and 11 on the Dance and Independent charts. On 6 December 2010, the BBCannounced that Nero had been nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll.

Stapleford - CTFO
After a big nap which I took since 9pm 'till now, I get into Vimeo and I got stocked with this track by an amazing producer called Stapleford. Track was produced in early 2010, but he finished it and mastered it on May 2011. So that means... This guy took a whole year to produce this track! SICK!!
The track it's almost 9 mins, it's really inspiring and amazing how the melodies melt together and create a master track! No big intro, no breaks, just solid track. Enjoy!

Artist of the day: Foreign Beggars!
Foreign Beggars are a critically acclaimed Rap, Grime and Dubstep group based in London, UK. The group consists of MCs Orifice Vulgatron and Metropolis, producer Dag Nabbit and DJ Nonames. Foreign Beggars are renowned for their eclectic and energetic live shows. Foreign Beggars first three album releases were through Dented Records; a label that is owned by the group and was created to support their own material and a host of UK underground artists.
Today the group line up on stage as Orifice Vulgatron, Metropolis and DJ Nonames often with UK Beatbox Champion MC Zani or THePETEBOX. Guest appearances from long time collaborators of the group and Dented recording artists Kyza and Dr Syntax have also become a regular occurrence.

Artist of the Day: Bare Noize
Daniel Brown & Oliver Pile aka Bare Noize, is a duo from London, UK formed in late 2009. A project focusing on evolving dubstep and pushing the genre beyond its usual barriers. Since their Proxy Dance In Dark remix first surfaced in 2009, gaining the support of Crookers, DJ Zinc and Joker, they have released a number of 12"s on Z-Audio. 2010 has seen the duo following in the footsteps of Nero and Bar 9 with the release of Filthy Lummox, their debut on Audio Phreaks and a number of high profile remixes for the likes of M'Black and Skrein.They have collaborated with US producer Skrillex and Foreign Beggars for the first dubstep release on Deadmau5’s Mau5trap label and are currently working on an original EP for release in 2011, as well as a producing for Atlantic Records.

Luciana - Yeah Yeah (Inofaith's Cup-B remix)
Heck yes! I've been listening to this track the whole day long, it's pretty amazing, how Inofaith's produce... He's a monster! He's productions goes around dubstep, IDM, Sound Design and Glitch vibes. He says his aim is to make music a visual experience. And with this video he totally does it! I mean, that remix works perfectly for the video. I totally support this guy!

Artist of the Day: Rusko
So today we have a really important producer, Christopher Mercer, more commonly known as Rusko, an English dubstep producer and DJ who was born on 26 January 1985 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. From day dot Rusko was surrounded by music whether it be his families piano's, guitars, banjo's and saxophone, or in his later years the heavy reggae and dub sound systems of Leeds, music has always been an integral part of Rusko's life.
After graduating from Leeds university with a degree in musical performance, Rusko discovered the world of dubstep through SUB DUB and a debut appearance from the "Digital Mystikz", having spent the past 10 years making future dub alongside Leeds very own Iration Steppas, Rusko connected with the sound and moved down to London to further advance his musical opportunities.
