Today we brought you an epic track, created by two of our favorite producers: Excision and Downlink. The track is called Existence VIP, personally, this track is really really big, I've heard other tracks from the upcoming ep, and they're actually pretty dope! Keep on tune, these two will be releasing the EP on may 23rd.
Exision: Excision is the alias of Jeff Abel, a dubstep DJ and music producer from British Columbia,Canada. He frequently works with fellow Canadian dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink. As one of the first dubstep producers and DJs in North America, he has played a significant role in the genre's growth in popularity, and also the development of a more aggressive approach to dubstep production. His first release was in 2007.
Downlink has been punishing dancefloors all over the planet with his heavy brand of dubstep. With roots in Jungle & DnB. He's from British Columbia, Canada, he was first introduced to dubstep in '07 and soon after took to production. While maintaining an appreciation for the sparse and laidback vibes of the old school, Downlink set out to explore a more frantic, adrenaline fuelled style, influenced by everything from heavy metal to astrophysics. His first two releases charted at #1 on several popular online music stores and soon he found his way onto Rottun Recordings. He has gained DJ support from the likes of Nero, Excision, Datsik, Rusko, Dieselboy, Crookers and many more.
